Actress Jennifer Lawrence on Body Image: Stop Calling Each Other Fat

Oscar winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, in a recent round of interviews, has made passionate and articulate remarks about unrealistic expectations and airbrushing in the media, pressures on women in the public eye to lose weight and body image issues.

In interviews Jennifer Lawrence doesn't agree with the notion of judging women for their appearances and their weight, particularly in the entertainment industry. Talking about the role of Katniss that she plays in The Hunger Games, Jennifer Lawrence explains that being strong and healthy is as important as her performance.
